I was chatting with my corper friend, Modupe, some days back and she said she was home at the moment because she was broke. It was then it occurred to me that allawee never change since I serve oooo. Na still that N19800.
The babe dey complain say the money too small. I almost laugh when me sef reason am. That time, 2012, one carton of noodles na less than N500 so I fit buy 10 cartons for 5k still get N14800 naira change but now one carton na 2k. Imagine the inflationary rate in less than 5yrs but no adjustment to allawee and in general salary but still every other thing dey rise like BP.
I agree say things tough and even the N19800 sef to every corper no be small money to government but still that cash be like say you give ur pikin N20 go school these days. If only they could make our allawee as large as our boots.
