He was a brave young boy that grew up to become the
king of the nation chosen by God. He slayed the warrior of the Philistine,
Goliath- a giant, with just his sling and the word of God. He befriended
the
prince and provoked the king who saw him as a threat to his kingdom yet he
pacified him when the evil spirits disturbed the king.
One by one his sons fell and his household in
disarray, Here the king who wants to rule the nation meant to save the world
cannot even save his household from destruction. His last wish to his son was
to kill the man who had done his dirty job.
This is the story of King David, the man after God’s
heart.
