Episode 10- 11th man theory

The eleventh man theory can be explained simply as this:

Eleven men are in a room and a lady joins the party. Ten of the men are restless and trying to help the lady out with her drinks and the little things just to get her attention but the eleventh man just says hi and watches from afar as everything unfolds. That’s the guy the lady will be interested in.

It was a whole new start without Mo. Knowing it was over this time, I began to hang out more with the guys; we clubbed more often and played the hail game. From experience, I knew it wasn’t right to force a lover; one will come when the time is right.

It was during one of the Friday night hang outs that we met ‘Lyrical Monster’ an upcoming rap artist. He was tried hard to win our attention and when he finally did, we discovered he wasn’t only an extremely talented guy that was going to be the next big thing; he was also a guy with big plans outside his music.

He and BJ took a liking to themselves; you know birds of a feather, flock together. They were terrorists only concerned about smashing any lady’s twin tower. I wasn’t really into that life anymore but I must admit I do cover their loopholes, it was important I still had to be a brother’s keeper.

Lyrical finally got a sort of break when a media house- ‘2-4-9ja’ was so impressed with a song of his that they decided to shoot the video and promote it. He was ecstatic and a date was fixed for the video shoot. It was supposed to be done within four days.

On the third day which happened to be a Saturday, I and BJ decided to go to the shoot since we weren’t really doing anything that weekend to support our boy. When we got there, the shoot just about concluded and we had to join in the little after party. It was a party of about 30 of us and one lady in particular stood out. She was stunning, more beautiful than all the video vixens present and I have to admit I was moved by her looks.

Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who felt this way about Vivian. I could see she was really attractive and lot of the guys were trying to get to her. BJ was trying too but me I know that all he wanted to do was smash. Seeing the damsel and the attention she got, I knew it was a no go considering the classy guys present who were trying to get her attention and it was near impossible for her to be single. This kind of girl sef cannot be loyal, lotta guys will spend their hard earned cash just to be with her. This kind of girl will find it impossible not to be a runs girl, not because of will but because of the impossible offers she would get. Her classy looks actually presented her in that light.

I watched Vivian as she stood up, her black leather tight short gown almost gave me a hard on. It was like she was whinning her waists deliberately but she wasn’t. There were many heads nodding to the rhythm of her buttocks as it bounced. She was fleshy just like Mo but 50 times more beautiful, her bust was perfectly packed just to reveal the beautiful contours of her breasts. It was hard to take my eyes off her and I could understand why she had that much attention. You can’t blame any guy there irrespective of their intentions. When she smiled, she revealed a set of beautiful arranged white teeth that signified an angel. God, her eyes, her nose, her mouth; it was all on point. She was a masterpiece.

I didn’t know when I asked Lyrical who she was and if she was a video vixen he used in his shoot but he said she was a manager in the media house that signed him and ‘was a no go area’. I didn’t need to be told that. Me sef I know but her beauty deserved that attention. I swear fine girls no dey get peace oooo……they are either on a call or struggling with one dude hitting on them. I instantly felt sorry for her. She seem choked of attention was getting a little agitated. Better take your mind off this babe I told myself so I enjoyed the rest of the party with my friends, Lyrical and BJ and after around 3pm, I decided to leave earlier and go home.

Getting to the car park, I saw Vivian outside talking a sip. She looked like she was trying to cool off from the severe attention she was getting even though it was quite hot. My foolish heart started to beat again but I used my head and ignored her. As I was about to open the car door, she called out to me and asked why I was leaving early.

‘G-GGG-g-g-good morning ma’ I stammered even though it was afternoon.

‘Good afternoon. It’s noon and I’m no ma’ she answered with a smile as she walked towards me. She looked like she had perfected the mastery of seduction because nothing on me didn’t stand, even my eyebrows.

‘I’m sorry’ I said.

‘You don’t have to be. I noticed you were reserved at the party and it got me wondering if you were alright’

‘I wasn’t really’ I lied. ‘I just needed to turn up for my homeboy, Lyrical’

‘Yea, Lyrical. Terrific talent’

‘Indeed’. I was scared just been alone with her, I needed an escape.

‘I’m Vivian’ she said stretching her beautiful manicured hands out.

‘Olayinka. It’s a pleasure’

‘Pleasure is mine. You look really nervous, you should get going and treat yourself’ she said.

‘Thanks a lot. It was nice meeting you’

‘Me too. You mind if I give you a call later on to check on your wellbeing?’ she asked.
